<reviewbody>Very nice recording, its all in the mix.
Perfomance made even stronger by varied set list, nice to see the "Truckin'>The Other One, Baby Blue" run.

Other highlights are a nice variation of "Bird Song" and a very stong "Greatest Story" and "Black Throated Wind".

also an almost flawless recitle of "Truckin'" by Weir !!

New Jersey was a lucky place to be in '72.

Well Done.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>the quality recording, music, playing, but most of all the lack of reviews! c'mon people, i've been listening to the dead ever since i found archive.org and i base much of what i listen to, as well as various facts and what i know, from other user's reviews and experiences.. so DON"T think that 3 minutes telling what you remember or what you know is in VAIN!! i've seen bob and ratdog but never the dead and it gives me that glimpse that i need to feel out the show!</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>it all blows my mind.</reviewtitle>

<reviewbody>Came to see what all the hub-bub was about after the call-out for more reviews.

Glad I did. If you like the Dick's Pick's Stanley Theater release of the night following this (and why wouldn't you?) there's every reason to DL this show, too.

Best...and i mean BEST "He's Gone" i've ever experienced--right here. It's self-contained, letter perfect, with an impromptu blues show by Jerry well after the "doo-wop" chorus of "...nuthin's gonna bring him back..." I think this version was so good they didn't even want it to segue into anything else.

Brilliant.

Just a great, clean-sounding show all around. Sharp first set. Grand '72-style jamming in the 2nd.

'72 is not even one of my favorite years, but this Stanley Theater run is just ridiculously hot.

Highly recommended.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Came to this show to listen to a great rain and snow...
heard many a great (and not so great) show along the ride...not long -- very enjoyable

it's the journey, not the destination -- many folk would tell you...
but the end point is worthy...

output is great
clean
high guitars
great SLOW vocal...
great SOLOS
great Jer...

Much fun findin this set...
deep, clean, soundboard

<reviewbody>Otherwise, a brilliant performance partnered with an A+ recording for 1972 ~ Solid, well-played, competent and lots of hidden treasures. I have to give it a 5 because it is such a great recording of a great night of music.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>The music speaks for itself. Listen to it.

I think back to all the time and resources I put into making and trading tapes. And now, this...

Wow!! None of us in our wildest imagination could have ever dreamed of having a resourse like this back then. And that Windows Media Player set on randomization and full screen...

Oh my god!! If this stuff had been around back in the day I don't know if I ever could have ever stopped watching it.

Five stars isn't enough. My rating is five million stars.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I went to the Stanley theatre run (3nites) all great shows(see Dicks picks 11)It was the middle show if memorey serves. 1972 was a great place to be in 72...They also played a 5 nite run at the Academy of Music that spring...also They played at Roosevelt Stadium not far from the Stanley that summer and fall.If that's not enough they played at Dillon Stadium in Hartford as well.Saw the boys twice in 71' but 72 is really when I got my permanant seat on the bus...Thank you GRATEFUL DEAD!...Thank you Archive!all these shows were top shelf</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This is an excelent show. I have been reading the book grateful dead gear. For all you fanatics out there it is a great read tells about all the new gear and inovations. Its fun to read sections then hop on the archive and listen to the shows and listen to the sound difference from when new gear was introduced.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I agree with my fellow reviews. This is top notch both in performance and sound quality. Also I'm happy to see that there are young people like dddeeeaaaddd that know great music when they hear it. My girlfriend is only twenty four and I've got her hooked.</reviewbody>
